Desmond Mason out for season
The Oklahoma City Thunder have lost guard Desmond Mason for the season to a hyper-extended knee.
On the season, Mason was averaging 7.5 ppg and 4 rpg.
"We are disappointed to lose Desmond for the remainder of the season," [Thunder GM Sam] Presti said. "He is a valuable part of our efforts on and off the court. We will support Desmond and work with him throughout the rehabilitation process."The injury happened when Mason was trying to stop a breakaway dunk.
On the season, Mason was averaging 7.5 ppg and 4 rpg.
