Desmond Mason out for season

The Oklahoma City Thunder have lost guard Desmond Mason for the season to a hyper-extended knee.
"We are disappointed to lose Desmond for the remainder of the season," [Thunder GM Sam] Presti said. "He is a valuable part of our efforts on and off the court. We will support Desmond and work with him throughout the rehabilitation process."
The injury happened when Mason was trying to stop a breakaway dunk.

On the season, Mason was averaging 7.5 ppg and 4 rpg.
