Gerald Wallace has collapsed lung

In last night's game against the Lakers, Charlotte Bobcats SF Gerald Wallace was fouled hard by Lakers center Andrew Bynum. The play was called a flagrant foul and is being reviewed by the NBA.

Bobcats coach Larry Brown, however, feels it doesn't warrant a suspension or further disciplinary action.
“That kid waited at our bus, trying to get to Gerald, and he apologized to me,’’ Brown said. “If he had a history of that (rough play), I might feel different, but I just think it was a hard foul.’’
Wallace is still in an L.A. hospital with a broken rib and collapsed lung. Brown doesn't "expect him back anytime soon."

Wallace is averaging 16.4 ppg, 7.4 rpg and 1.9 spg this season. Adam Morrison replaced Wallace in the starting lineup tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers.
