Iverson close to returning?

The Detroit Pistons have played their last 12 games without Allen Iverson, whom the Pistons acquired in a blockbuster trade when they shipped Chauncey Billups to Denver.

The Pistons lost all eight of the games with Iverson before these past 12 games that he missed.

Iverson may soon be returning to court as a test yesterday went well.
"The test was good," [Pistons coach Michael] Curry said of Friday's exam. "Hopefully the one tomorrow will be good as well.

"I think he will then begin the process of getting on the court and doing some things with Arnie [Kander, strength and conditioning coach]. So that's what we're hoping for and that's what he's hoping for."
When Iverson does return, the question will be who comes off the bench: Rip Hamilton, who was moved to the bench in January, or Iverson.
