Flip Saunders next Wizards coach?

According to Peter Vecsey of the New York Post, the Washington Wizards will announce this week that their next coach will be Flip Saunders. And Vecsey thinks it's the wrong move.

The Wizards have two games remaining (against Raptors and Celtics) and if they don't win one of those two games, they will finish tied with the franchise low in wins (19).

Despite their record, Wizards swingman Caron Butler thinks this team is ready to be champsionship-caliber team next season.

The challenge for Saunders (or any Wizards' coach for that matter) will be to control Gilbert "Agent Zero" Arenas, who stole $111 million from the Wizards.

Saunders, who led the Pistons to three straight Eastern Conference Finals exits, was fired in June 2008 and he has been out of coaching since then.

Good luck Flip. You're gonna need it.
