Hornets get blown out by 58 to tie record
If you're a glass-half-full kind-of guy, it could have been worse.
Remember the 100-0 result in the Covenant over Dallas Academy where the Covenant coach lost his job?
Last night was not much better for the New Orleans Hornets, who came from behind to win game 3.
The Denver Nuggets tied an NBA record by beating the Hornets 121-63. The 58-point blowout ties the NBA mark set in 1956 when the Minneapolis Lakers beat the St. Louis Hawks. Now the series is all but over.

"Every coach talks about playing a playoff game, every possession having value, every possession having intensity to it," [Nuggets coach George] Karl began. "I thought my team, probably in my career, I've never seen a team probably do that on every possession -- do what they were supposed to do and play the game the right way -- as much as they did tonight."The Nuggets shot 56.6 percent from the field while the Hornets only shot 31.5 percent. Their assist-to-turnover ratios were essentially inverted. The Nuggets had 29 assists and 11 turnovers and the Hornets had 10 assists and 27 turnovers.
"I'm pretty sure Chris Paul is not 100 percent," Karl said. "He doesn't have that slippery quickness he usually has."Chris Paul only had four points on 2-for-7 shooting and had six turnovers.
