Iverson upset about playing time
Coming back from a back injury, Detroit Pistons guard Allen Iverson is unhappy about coming off the bench.
McCosky goes on to say that the Pistons would be better off sending Iverson home so that he's not a distraction. And that he needs to realize that he is not the player he was before becoming a Piston.
The Pistons are two games under .500. Iverson is averaging 17.6 ppg and is shooting only 41.6% from the field in his 53 games played in Detroit.
Tonight, Iverson was 1-8 and scored four points in 17 minutes.
"How many minutes did I play? It seemed way, way, way less than that. Eighteen minutes? Come on, man. I can play 18 minutes with my eyes closed and with a 100-pound truck on my back. It's a bad feeling, man. I'm wondering what they rushed me back for? For that? "It's a bad time for me mentally."As Chris McCosky of the Detroit News points out, Iverson says that he wants to stay positive and not vent after he has already vented.
