Will Chris Mullin be the Knicks next GM?
Per Peter Vecsey of the New York Post, Chris Mullin would make a good fit as Knicks general manager if team president Donnie Walsh decides to hire one.
However, Walsh says that no conversations with he and Mullin, the Golden State Warriors VP, have taken place. As Vecsey points out, that would be tampering and cost the Knicks a first-round pick.
If the Knicks hire a GM, it will likely be Mullin, Billy King or Billy Knight.

"Some guy called me yesterday and said he'd heard I'd hired Billy Knight," Walsh said. "I have no idea where all this stuff comes from. It's amazing how much misinformation is out there."Regardless of who may or may not be the next Knicks GM, Walsh says a decision won't be made for several months.
"I have close relationships with all three guys," Walsh said. "The sad news is there's one possible job."
