Dirk Nowitzki: "I'm a warrior. I'll be ready to play."

Overcoming a 2-0 deficit in an NBA playoff series rarely happens. And it won't be any easier to achieve for the Dallas Mavericks with the distraction facing Dirk Nowitzki, their best player.

Cristal Taylor, who also goes by many aliases, was arrested at Nowitzki's home on warrants from probation violation and a theft charge.
"It's pretty obvious that I'm going through a tough time in my personal life right now," Nowitzki, 30, said after practice Thursday. "Like I always have, I want to kind of keep my private life private.

"I really am not at the stage where I can talk about it yet and feel comfortable talking about it. I'm more than happy to answer basketball questions, but I think at this point, I just can't talk about it."
Dallas-area stations are reporting that Taylor is Nowitzki's fiancee and that she is pregnant.

Despite the distraction, Nowitzki says that he'll be ready to play on Saturday saying "I'm a warrior."
