Isiah not making friends in Florida?

Per the New York Post, new Florida International University basketball coach Isiah Thompson Thomas is already alienating some high school coaches in the state of Florida.

The coaches are upset at how Thomas handled (or didn't handle) their players who were recruited by the previous FIU regime and awaiting an update on their statuses from Thomas.

Thomas claims that he thought he wasn't able to contact the high school players directly since he had just taken his compliance tests.
"From Jacksonville, to Orlando to Pensacola, there's a lot of coaches in Florida not happy with him right now," [Wolfson High coach Greg] Rosebrock told The Post. "He's not making friends here. I understand not wanting [Chris Rozier, one of Rosebrock's players] but place a phone call and do it in a professional way."
Thomas demonstrated his ineptitude in running the Knicks' franchise so it's not surprising that he's not making many friends in his new job.
