Mavs face 3-0 hole after non-call
The Dallas Mavericks lost game three against the Denver Nuggets on a three-pointer that should have never been. The Mavericks, who had a foul to give, were attempting to (and did) foul Denver's Carmelo Anthony, who hit a three-pointer with one second left that put the Nuggets ahead by one.
The NBA issued a statement after the game admitting that a foul should have been called.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the Mavs considering protested the game, but they have decided against it.

"It's just a shame, because Mark [Wunderlich]'s a good official, an experienced official," coach Rick Carlisle said. "I assume they know that we have a foul to give and we would take it in that situation. I'm yelling at Antoine: 'Get him, get him, take it.' And no whistle blows. It's just extremely disappointing.Overcoming a two-game deficit to start the series was unlikely, but now the Nuggets are virtually guaranteed the series with the 3-games-to-none lead over the Mavs. No team has ever overcome such a deficit to win an NBA playoff series.
