Per Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star, Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger wants to improve on the defensive end of the court next year. "LeBron didn't always play defense and D-Wade didn't always play defense," Granger said. "Now they've realized to be good in this league or to have an elite team you have to play defense. Next year I'll have more of a commitment to it because you kind of get zoned out."

With Orlando Magic point guard Rafer Alston suspended for tonight's game three against the Celtics, Courtney Lee may return from his fractured sinus injury tonight.

John Gonzalez of the Philadelphia Inquirer says the mark on Elton Brand is "incomplete" and he doesn't understand why some would want to dump Brand until he's played one full season in Philly.

Per Kate Fagan of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Sixers GM Ed Stefanski will meet with interim Sixers coach Tony DiLeo next week to discuss DiLeo's status with the team. After the team's disappointing game six performance against the Howard-less Magic, several Sixer players whined and moaned about DiLeo.

Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers draws parallels between Eddie House and J.J. Redick: "It's the shots that get you mad, because you look at them.
