And about his future beyond next year? "I don't know, I haven't thought about it just yet," James said. "I'm just going to take time off from basketball and not think about contracts or the game, period, and relax with my family. We'll figure out once [the offer] comes from them."
Is retirement on the horizon for Cavs F/C Ben Wallace? "I've got to sit down and talk with my family and see what I feel," Wallace said. "It isn't getting any easier for me. It is tough going out there every night with something hurting and not being able to give the effort you want to give. I love the game and respect the game too much to be going out there half-hearted."
Magic PG Jameer Nelson is going to be sent for an MRI as team president Bob Vander Weide to see whether Nelson can return for the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
