Jefferson to Spurs for Bowen, Oberto and Thomas

The Milwaukee Bucks have traded Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto.

Jefferson turned 29 on Father's Day while the trio of players going from San Antonio to Milwaukee are all in their mid-to-late thirties.

From a financial perspective, the Spurs are getting a player who will earn $29 million over the next two seasons. But Jefferson averaged 19.6 points per game for the Bucks last season.

Great move for the Spurs in adding an athletic, younger scorer.
