The Shaqtus is leaving the desert

Looking for help to guard Dwight Howard in the low post, the Cleveland Cavaliers got their man.

The Phoenix Suns have traded Shaquille O'Neal to the Cavaliers for Ben Wallace, who has considered retirement, Sasha Pavlovic and the 46th overall pick in tonight's NBA Draft.

The Cavs were also talking to the Hornets about Tyson Chandler, which would have been a Plan B if they couldn't get the Shaq deal done, according to ESPN.

O'Neal has only one year remaining on his contract, but he was looking for a two-year extension. Chandler has two years remaining on his contract.

Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic speculates that the Suns could draft Ohio State center B.J. Mullens to replace the Big Diesel.

"We have lots to consider," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said. "We've pared our list down to players we're very comfortable with drafting."

With Shaq heading to Cleveland, the folks over at King James Gospel came up with a list of 20 potential Shaq nicknames. My personal favorite - LeBrawn.
